Questions about industries
Can't see your question? Ask us directly.
Which industry page should I read?
Start with the one closest to how you bill. If two fit, read both: the pages share the same six stages and differ in the examples and questions each industry asks first.
Is DAY ONE the same product for every industry?
It is one product and one data model for every sector. What differs is configuration: templates, rates, terms and approvals, set per business unit. DAY ONE sets this up with you during Quickstart, or a delivery partner does.
What if our type of firm is not listed?
DAY ONE fits firms that sell expertise and bill by fixed fee, milestone, time or a mix, whatever the label. If your type of firm is not listed, tell us how you sell and bill. Discuss your business.
Can we see a customer in our sector?
Rowland, a PR and communications firm, is the one customer story we publish. We name other customers only with their permission, so there are no other names yet. Rowland case study.
How long does it take to get started?
Quickstart aims for a first live flow in about 30 days for a straightforward scope. That needs a named sponsor, a small core team and data ready. A wider scope is planned separately. Quickstart.
Do we need Salesforce already?
On Salesforce; works with your Salesforce org, or available as a bundled edition if you don't use Salesforce. Editions.
Do we have to replace our accounting system?
No. DAY ONE connects to your accounting ledger, today Xero, and invoices can also be sent without an accounting integration.
